Hi!  My name is Tim McKenzie and I’m excited to be the youth pastor at High Way Church.  I have been a member of this church family for over 20 years and have had the opportunity of working with our youth previously.  I believe that God has called me again to this amazing ministry and I am excited to see the things he has in store for us. 

I asked Jesus into my heart at a young age and decided that I wanted to live for him.  He has shown me again and again that I need to put my trust in Him.  I have witnessed many miracles in my life and every day the Lord shows me that he cares for me.  When challenges face me, I am thankful for his strength and mercy.

I currently work as an SEA in Maple Ridge.  My wife, Nicole is also an educator.  We have two wonderful children, Dakota and Madison.

My vision for our youth is that we be witnesses through our walk of Faith.  My hope is that the young people in our church will desire to know their Heavenly Father more and that through their changed lives, other young people will be drawn to the Lord.

1 Timothy 4:12: Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

We plan to meet every Friday for Bible Studies and Activity Nights.
